Gentle, pain-free impulses guide the body back to its own ideal posture.Ortho-Bionomy® does not correct or manipulate, but supports the organism in developing its individuality. This work leads to an original understanding of the incorrect or unhealthy posture and thus to a causal solution to the complaints. The qualified and practising expert Prof Rainer Hornek, former section leader of Vienna Symphony Orchestra, helps participants to find solutions for their personal needs.

It's all about Strings!

Lecture and Workshop with Bernhard Rieger

Regardless of whether it is a violin, viola, cello or double bass, the tonal magic of a string instrument consists of the vibration of a string on a body. Our seminar is about the influence of a string on a string instrument. Bernhard Rieger, Director of string development & String Development Engineer for Thomastik-Infeld, will help us understand the Structure and differences of strings in general, Influence of the different string tensile forces (string tensions) on instruments, Where does bow noise come from and how can it be influenced,  Influence of different rosins, Discussion of wolf tones and whistling of strings (especially violin E strings) and how to influence these phenomena, Tips and tricks to increase the life span of strings and shorten the break-in time and much more!

From Breath To Sound

Lecture and Workshop with Maria Woldrich

Through this breathing work, we consciously experience how the powers of the breath unfold their effect and for example how rapid relaxation or energization, mobility and posture can improve. Free breathing allows body, soul and spirit to become permeable. In addition to virtuoso playing, free-flowing breath helps instrumentalists and pianists to find the very personal sound of the instrument and thus contributes to the creation of moods, colors, characters etc. At the same time, this work allows the artistic personality to grow.
