About Us
Kunst- & Kulturwelten, based in Vienna (Austria), is dedicated to the fine arts and sees itself as a hub for music and art lovers in the education sector. We have been organizing masterclasses, seminars and concerts since 2016, always with the intention of bringing uncompromisingly high quality to our events. As the first masterclass organizer, we have combined instrumental lessons with further education courses and seminars, with the idea of not only improving the instrumental skills of our students, but also conveying theoretical, educational and physical aspects of music. Masterclasses, concerts or seminars, the events organized by Kulturwelten are diverse and manifest themselves in the commitment of professional musicians and culture enthusiasts. A particular focus is on working with children and young people in order to awaken their enthusiasm for sophisticated music and promote it in depth. But there are also many opportunities for students to further their education, present themselves and make new contacts. Lecturers at our summer courses are members of leading orchestras as well as teachers at the country’s numerous music universities. As part of the association’s work, members can actively promote culture and mould their love of music.
Every Summer Academy
is an excellent opportunity to take our participants’ skills to a higher level and to further their personal development. The courses are taught by experienced and highly qualified experts, in which our participants receive intensive training and experience to expand and deepen their skills and knowledge. They are characterised, among other things, by exclusive individual lessons, which comprise a total of five separate teaching units. The current summer courses include instrumental lessons for violin, viola, violoncello, double bass, piano, bassoon and singing. At the end of the course, our participants can look forward to a final concert at the world-famous Musikverein in Vienna. We accompany young musicians as they take their first musical steps and encourage professionals to perfect their musical skills and knowledge. The intensive training and the wide range of further education programmes offered as part of the Kulturwelten summer courses culminate in joint final concert, which is held in the beautiful Musikverein in Vienna. At the end of our summer course, all graduates receive a certificate confirming their participation.
